There’s an easy way how to fit right shoe size – no matter if it’s safety shoe, sneakers or casual footwear. Prepare a pen, A4 paper sheet and ruler. Put your foot in the middle of  paper sheet and outline your foot precisely. Now take a ruler and  measure distance from tip of your toe to tip of your heel(measure outline you’ve made). Add 0,5cm, maximal 1 cm to distance you’ve measured. Result received is length of shoe insole which is perfect for you foot length. Now all you have to do, is to compare it with insole of safety shoes you like the most .

Make notice to measure your feet in the afternoon, not in the evening  right before you go to bed, because your feet are tired and their length might be different. Also before making an outline put on socks you wear mostly at work to avoid wrong shoe size purchase. It’s important to measure both feet – sometimes one might be little longer than other.

Wearing to small shoes

If you’ve bought shoes which are to small, immediately exchange them to right size. Stretching them isn’t helpful at all, there’s also risk of shoe damage. Wearing to small shoes for a couple days will not make them bigger and will pressurize your feet. This may cause a bad mood or health issues foot bumps or foot numb. To tight shoes can afford over sweating, foot deformation and fungus and bacteria growth.

Wearing to big shoes

Shoes are to big? This might cause heath issues and injuries. If it’s about couple millimeters, thicker sock can solve this problem. When shoes are letting your foot move back and forward and on sides too much -  exchange them immediately! This may cause feeling lack of stability what provides you to fold your toes or lifting your feet higher while making steps. This may afford painful injuries like twisted ankle or heel rub.
